Huntington Ingalls Industries - Technical Solutions Division, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking an Office 365 Deployment Engineer to work out of their Washington, DC office.

This is a customer-facing position that will require travel throughout the United States for the next 18 months (for up to 80-100% of the time). The Office 365 Deployment Engineer will also be required to:

  • Required to work/train for six weeks on-site in Washington DC. The purpose of this six-week period is to train them on various client-specific processes and functions. HII and the client will pay for billable time, but will not pay expenses for this timeframe (including hotel, meals, transportation to/from home, etc.)

  • Selected candidates will not receive corporate credit cards for travel. Required to pay for travel up front and they will be reimbursed. There are two ways to be reimbursed for travel:

  • Request a travel advance, which will cover 75% of the total trip costs. (The remaining 25% is reimbursed after the trip.) Advances are processes 1-2 weeks after the employee has paid for the trip.

  • Wait until the trip is complete and request reimbursement from HII. Reimbursement usually takes 1-2 weeks to complete.

  • Local candidates will be working from the AO on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for the foreseeable future. They can work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

  • Non-local candidates must to travel to the AO once per month for 2-3 days. The AO/HII will not cover travel-related expenses for these trips.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing appropriate support model

  • Perform service administration and account maintenance

  • Act as the primary contact for service escalations and troubleshooting of issues

  • Resolve client connectivity, client software distribution, and mobile installation issues

  • Analyze Office 365 service reports, auditing logs, and third party service reports

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

Experience - Required:

  • Experience deploying Office 365 ProPlus (and technical details) and drive consistency in customers’ experience with moving to Office 365 ProPlus

  • Exceptional customer support and communication skills

  • Experience with Office 365 deployment and migration

  • Ability to solve problems quickly, develop workflows and processes for operation team, and automate processes

  • 2 or more years of experience with Office 365 administration and migrations

  • Expert skills in managing and administering Office 365 (Office 365 ProPlus, user provisioning / de-provisioning, permissions, access, etc.)

  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting these platforms: Microsoft Exchange , , Skype for Business, Mail-flow and Connectors, Outlook client configuration , Powershell, SMTP,

  • Broad knowledge of key end-user scenarios and technical architecture for Office 365, Office 365 ProPlus, Exchange, SharePoint, Skype for Business, and other Office 365 products

Experience - Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of IT experience are required.

  • Use Microsoft Office 365 support tools: RCA, MOSDAL, and TRIPP

  • Write and maintain custom PowerShell scripts to remediate any open issues to support users

  • Create service requests as needed for Microsoft Premier Support

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Office 365 is a plus

  • Prior experience with Lotus Notes and/or Lotus Notes to Exchange migrations is a plus.
