HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking an Air Force Exercise Oversight SME to work at Joint Base Anacostia, Bolling (JBAB), Washington, D.C..
The AF OTI Flight Plan includes Exercise Oversight as one of the critical Lines of Effort. Currently, there is no HQ Air Force organization assigned the duty of developing and coordinating policy and guidance across the AF exercise enterprise. Since exercises are a key component to overall unit readiness, an agile and adaptive workforce is required to ensure the AF exercise program meets CSAF and CJCS directed exercise program goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Assist in the development of annual senior leader guidance on the planning, execution and assessment of AF exercises
Coordinate with MAJCOMs to determine readiness shortfalls and exercise requirements
Answer AF senior leader, MAJCOM, CJCS, and congressional inquiries concerning the participation of AF forces in Service, Joint, coalition, and Combatant Command exercises
Assist with Exercise Coordination Working Group execution and product development
Coordinate and staff the approval of an annual Master Exercise Calendar Memorandum of Agreement
Provide assessments concerning AF exercises to senior leaders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Past experience with AF operations in either air, space, or cyber domain. Experience in AF, Joint and Coalition exercise planning, execution and assessment.
Understanding of unit readiness reporting and readiness requirements to meet Mission Essential Tasks (METS) and OPLAN preparedness.
Experience with multi-domain and multi-functional interoperability and training requirements.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with disparate organizations and develop strategies to accomplish AF-wide initiatives.
Past experience with HAF-level and MAJCOM coordination processes, policy development, and strategic communications at a senior leader level.
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
Candidate must have an active Secret DoD clearance.
