HII-MIS, is currently seeking aSenior Integrated Logistics Support Managerto work out of theirVirginia Beachoffice.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Provide support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modify maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develop requisitions for and manage records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; document equipment, component and parts conditions; and identify logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.

  • Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the job. An office or warehouse work environment is normally encountered. May occasionally require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Qualifications and Experience: Required:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System with knowledge of DoD/Navy ILS systems, directives, policies, and standards.

  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet Explorer.

  • Knowledge and experience utilizing the ERP system with "Warehouse management," "Inventory Management," and "Shipping Creation" modules.

  • In-depth knowledge of Tech Manuals and engineering drawings/data reading practices (MIL-STD-1000), and be capable to perform, logistic technical evaluation of equipment and material presented in these drawings.

  • Experience preparing data sets documenting the equipment/component in a Confirguration Status Accounting database.

  • Experience performing shipboard sight validations and able to perform logistic technical analysis of shipboard (marine) equipment.

  • Experience researching Ship Configuration logistic information in accordance with Ship Configuration and Logistic Support Information System (SCLSIS) specifications and enter data in the Navy’s CDMD-OA system.

  • HS diploma plus 10 years relevant (DoD/USN) experience.

  • Travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Preferred:

  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy surface ship combat systems and embedded training systems such as AN/USQ-T48 AN/USQ-T47 Trainer (TSSS), Control (DCTMS), Ship Trainer on of ships. Security:

  • U.S. citizen with current DoD Secret Clearance is required.
