HII-MIS, is currently seeking aLogistics Analyst 2to work out of theirVirginia Beachoffice.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Use databases to track on-going fleet support a BFTT ISEA Lab support efforts in support of time sensitive requirement. Develop reports and spreadsheets to track support efforts that will be utilized to support the contract. Responsible for insuring materials are received and stored in accordance with established Company and Government Contract guidelines. Responsible for issuing material identified for shipboard installations. Prepare all installation kits as directed and process the appropriate documentation to support each shipment. Update and monitor the logistic database with the most current and accurate information of material. Periodically assist with the audit of supply storage for quantities, location, and labeling of Government Furnished Material. Operate forklift to move material as required.
Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the job. An office or warehouse work environment is normally encountered. May occasionally require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Qualifications and Experience: Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support areas of the DoD / Navy Integrated Logistics Support System with knowledge of DoD / Navy ILS systems, directives, policies, and standards. One (1) of these years must be full-time specialized experience in logistics engineering development including experience in the development, fleet introduction, installation, test, operation, and life cycle support of a major shipboard system. This specialized experience shall include each of the following Navy ILS components in support of a major shipboard system (1) Maintenance Planning; (2) Manpower, Personnel, & Training; (3) Supply Support; (4) Test Equipment Support; (5) Technical Logistical Data; (6) Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportation; and (7) Design & Installation.
Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet Explorer and Microsoft SharePoint.
Knowledge and experience utilizing the ERP system with "Warehouse management," "Inventory Management," and "Shipping Creation" modules.
Experience performing shipboard sight validations and able to perform logistic technical analysis of shipboard (marine) equipment.
Experience researching Ship Configuration logistic information in accordance with Ship Configuration and Logistic Support Information System (SCLSIS) specifications and enter data in the Navy’s CDMD-OA system.
HS diploma plus 3 years relevant (DoD/USN) experience.
Travel up to 10% of the time.
Knowledge of U.S. Navy surface ship combat systems and embedded training systems such as AN/USQ-T48 AN/USQ-T47 Trainer (TSSS), Control (DCTMS), Ship Trainer on of ships.

U.S. citizen with current DoD Secret Clearance is required.
