HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Vehicle Fleet Management and Planning Support at Shaw, AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide analytical assistance in managing both deployed and in-storage vehicle programs for approximately 6,800 vehicles. This support includes vehicle leases, WRM, and vehicles deployed to operational contingencies.
Analyze and coordinate vehicle requirements with the Vehicle and Equipment Management Support Office (VEMSO), the CAOC, the AMIC, and deployed forces. Actions include processing vehicle authorization requests and reviewing/forwarding LTIs.
Develop plans for spinning up new bases and drawing down existing operating locations. This planning includes providing direction to deployed personnel on receipt/shipment of vehicles, requesting ULNs through JOPES, and tracking vehicle movements throughout the AOR.
Monitor, analyze and assess the individual requirements for vehicle mechanics and operators deployed to the AOR in support of USAFCENT contingency operations.
Provide expertise and advice on vehicle management issues to the USAFCENT/A3 JOPES office, USAFCENT/A1, AEF Center, and Air Staff planners and managers.
Provide guidance and advice to USAFCENT FAMs, USAFCENT A4R Division Chief, USAFCENT Vehicle Program Manager, USAFCENT Forward Staff and deployed fleet managers at all USAF locations in the USCENTCOM AOR regarding vehicles and vehicle maintenance personnel.
Assist Fleet Management with the movement and tracking of vehicles for inter/intra theater purposes.
Assist the Vehicle Program Manager in training newly assigned personnel regarding USAFCENT duties/responsibilities/processes.
Accompany the Vehicle Program Manager on TDYs to the AOR or CONUS support agencies to accomplish on-site work related to assigned duties.
Assist the Vehicle Program Manager in training new personnel deploying to the AOR.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of four years of USAF Vehicle Management experience.
Minimum of two years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Minimum of four years of vehicle fleet management experience.
Possess technical capability to utilize the following vehicle/USAF database programs: Logistics, Installations & Mission Support -Enterprise View (LIMSEV), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS), Internet-Base Contractor Operated Parts Store (ICOPARS), and DRMD.
