HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Standard and Non-Standard Forces Training Support at Shaw, AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to multiple agencies, deployers, and units to ensure personnel are trained and equipped appropriately and validate theater entry requirements for both standard and non-standard forces. Provide reach-back and individual support to deployers and unit deployment managers (UDMs) on a continual basis.
Coordinate with USCENTCOM, AF Major Commands (MAJCOMs), NAFs, world-wide AF units, and Service components to ensure deploying Airmen supporting Joint Expeditionary Tasking (JET) and Individual Augmentee (IA) taskings are properly trained and equipped.
Provide continuous data support for deploying airmen and UDMs through use of Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES)/DCAPES, personnel web sites, secure video teleconference (SVTC), conference calls, and face-to face communication.
Research RFF, Force Tracking Numbers, Joint Manning Documents, and Unit Line Numbers (ULNs) to identify accurate mission descriptions and associated pre-deployment training and assigned unit designations.
Assist deploying members, units, and organizations in identifying specific mission set capabilities and predeployment requirements needed to prepare unit or airmen for tasking.
Review, edit, and update deployment line remarks and provides them to AFPC/DPWPA for insertion into the line remark library posted on Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) Online. Continually scans library to prevent duplicating line remarks to prevent unit/personnel confusion.
Provide Combat Skills Training guidance and information to Headquarters Air Force (HAF)/MAJCOM/NAF/ Task Force Functional Area Managers (FAMs) and UDMs world-wide. Provide continual support to deployed leadership at all levels.
Coordinate with training schedulers at 602d Training Group (Provisional), Keesler AFB, MS to troubleshoot and schedule personnel for expeditionary combat skills training to include changes to course scheduling dates and tasking changes in DCAPES.
Provide support to Air Education and Training Command (AETC)/A3QD for training analysis studies concerning AFCENT pre-deployment expeditionary skills training requirements to include Evasion Conduct after Capture.
Schedule U.S. Army Military Police School’s (USAMPS) Evasive Driving Course and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Individual Terrorism Awareness Class (INTAC) for Office of Defense Representative to Pakistan (ODRP) and Afghanistan Pakistan Hands (APH) program personnel.
Coordinate all scheduling requirements and processes through USCENTCOM/CCJ7.
Coordinate schedules and schedule changes with deployers and units as mission requirements dictate.
Validate, coordinate, and build pre-deployment training waiver, exemption, and venue change request packages for ACC/A3O approval. Ensure training requirements conform to applicable regulation and mission requirements.
Assist USAF Expeditionary Center (EC) and the 422 Joint Tactics Squadron to sponsor the Air Expeditionary Group (AEG) Staff Course. Schedule required personnel. Provide weekly updates to the EC Registrar’s Office. Update lesson plans and slide presentations for course briefings and handouts. Coordinate rescheduling requests.
USAFCENT POC for Fire Retardant (FR) uniforms. Validate requirements and field AF-wide inquiries concerning Airman Battlefield System-Ground (ABS-G) and Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern (OCP) FR uniform procurement. Establish procedures, prioritize, and develop sustainment way-ahead with HAF/A4LE and USAFCENT/A4R.
USAFCENT non-standard forces theater entry requirements liaison to USCENTCOM/CCJ7-T Training Branch.
USAFCENT POC for Non-Standard Forces Training Requirements (NSFTR) and Joint Sourced Training Oversight (JSTO) development, application and other issues.
Provide advice and continuity for funding and Department of State (DoS) requirements for security cooperation operations and risk of isolation status.
Review and provide recommendations for DoS taskings and training requirements to include Office of Security Cooperation-Iraq (OSC-I) waiver requests to the USAFCENT/A3.
Perform annual line-by-line review of Force Tracking Numbers (FTNs) that require Army Combat Skills Training (CST) with Joint Staff J31 office, 2AF/EDP and 602d TRG (P) to ensure training is correct for the mission.
Develop and manage equipment listings for all JET airmen, IA airmen and the 466 AEG and their subordinate staffs. Continually update listings and upload changes to AEF Online.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience in NSFTR and JSTO development.
Must have at least one years’ experience in RFF, FTNs, Joint Manning Documents, and ULNs management and performing deliberate and crisis action planning at the MAJCOM level.
Must have at least one years’ experience at the NAF or higher level.
Air Advisor and ISD experience desired. Strong background in staff officer functions to include tasker management, briefing, and writing skills
