HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Military Postal Operations Support at Shaw, AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing command-wide operational policy and procedural guidance for postal activities to comply with various DoD, USPS, USCENTCOM, USAFCENT, and USAF directives and policies.
Assist with managing the MICT inspection process for USAFCENT locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to ensure compliance with postal policies, regulations, and directives as applicable.
Assist with developing inspection methods and criteria to effectively measure and rate compliance. Publish inspection standards and provide written reports to inspected activities. Assist with compliance with DoD requirement to inspect postal operations annually.
Modify and publish inspection checklists as changes are made to DoD and other directives.
Analyze inspection results to identify trends which require emphasis on additional training or development of Special Interest Items to focus proper attention on critical area of operations.
Assist with developing and implementing military postal operating procedures and command postal guidance for postal activities.
Provide field units with operating procedures, guidance, and policy on efficient postal operations, management, and mail processing.
Respond to command inquiries and provide responses to matters relating to postal operations and operational programs under the directorate.
Research new technologies for application and provide technical solutions to postal operations within the USCENTCOM AOR.
Perform as the Official Mail Manager SME for USAFCENT. Provide managerial and technical guidance for Official Mail Center operations in support of USAFCENT operational and exercise plans.
Recommend improvements for the official mail system to Official Mail Managers at Air Staff and Military Postal Service Agency based on observations, inspections, and evaluation reports.
Assist with oversight of the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of official mail service.
Assist with establishing procedures for Official Mail Centers to accept only outgoing official mail prepared according to DoD standards.
Contact activities to ensure appropriate coordination before inspection team(s) arrives.
Postal Finance Management: serve as SME on all postal finance matters.
Assist with developing policies and procedures that govern all aspects of the procurement, handling, sales, and reporting of all postage stock and stamp products.
Serve as the primary POC for all Custodians for Postal Effects/Stock Custodian matters.
Assist with the preparation of daily financial reports, monthly statement of operations, quarterly postal transaction reports, and other reports required by the USAF, Military Postal Service Agency, and USPS.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of ten years’ experience Military Postal Service in all facets of Military Postal Operations.
Minimum of three years’ experience at component level or higher staff.
Bachelor’s degree, Management preferred.
US Citizenship required
Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport
Candidate must possess Secret Clearance
