HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Information Assurance (IA) Systems Engineer Level 1 to work out of their Randolph AFB, TX, location.
Camber is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Systems Engineer Level 1 to perform Information System Security Officer (ISSO) functions. The candidate will be responsible for conducting tasks in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF); Enterprise Mission Assurance Service Support (eMASS); Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); Government Property Control and Asset Management; and design, engineering, build, test, and deployment of security vulnerability assessment solutions. Configure and maintain Windows and Linux workstations and servers to include Active Directory, Group Policy, patch management, STIG compliance and cybersecurity industry best practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of the cybersecurity team, the candidate is expected to assist in the conduct and review of RMF security controls, and vulnerability/compliance assessments. The goal is to achieve issuance of an Authorization to Operate (ATO) from the Operational Training Infrastructure (OTI) Headquarters Air Force (HAF)/A3T on behalf of the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Simulators Division (AFLCMC/WNS) for simulators and their associated networks, information systems, and applications as outlined below:
Support the System Information System Owner (ISO), with establishing, maintaining, and tracking system security plans (SSPs) in eMASS in accordance with steps one through six of the RMF process as documented at the RMF Knowledge Service.
Assist the Program and System ISSMs with the development and maintenance of organizational, system, and network cybersecurity that includes cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives, policies, personnel, and processes and procedures.
Assist in supporting the Program and System ISSMs with managing and updating cybersecurity information to include verification that artifacts documented in eMASS.
Support the Program and System ISSMs by recommending procedures and corrective measures to initiate when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered. Ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all cybersecurity-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the ISSMs.
Develop and provide information assurance (IA) and cybersecurity training, guides, and instructions to increase awareness of assigned personnel of the changing IA environment and facilitate streamlining of the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
Assist the Program and ISSMs in assessing the accuracy and completeness of system authorization packages in accordance with RMF to improve the overall security posture of the programs.
Review system artifacts (e.g., documents, scan results, reports) to determine if they are completed, accurate, and current. Witness first-hand, through facility, system, and network assessments, the actual processes related to each IA/security control. Tools such as the ACAS (i.e., SecurityCenter and NESSUS applications) scanners to verify Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation.
Develop and report relevant metrics and information on cyber security, RMF, CM, and security control status of networks and systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates are required to have at a minimum a DOD 8570.01 IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ ce).
3 years’ experience in conducting information system security assessments; evaluating IA and Cybersecurity security controls; conducting and supporting RMF steps.
Possess a strong working knowledge of eMASS and ACAS operations (formal training preferred).
Experience in applying information systems security principles and concepts as well as project management principles.
Experience in applying information systems security concepts and methods across multiple IT disciplines.
Experience with operational Air Force simulator systems desired.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint).
Demonstrate excellent writing and verbal skills.
Secret security clearance is mandatory, must be eligible for a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access.

Strong working knowledge of the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of functional experience; OR, An associate's degree plus 5 years of recent specialized experience; OR, 7 total years of recent specialized experience.
