HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Joint Interoperability SME to work at the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) in Orlando, FL.
This effort is focused on strengthening joint leaders and teams, enabling them to operate in interagency training environments. The analyst will assist AFAMS in improving inter-service training system interoperability, insuring Air Force warfighter capability to train in joint environments with realistic scenarios depicting integrated operations by collecting requirements and developing processes and plans for joint and inter-agency interoperability.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Identify documentation relating to requirements of Joint and inter-agency integration for operational training and mission rehearsal (e.g., National Military Strategy, AFIs, AFPDs). Provide a consolidated list and summary, and identify missing documentation.
Construct a consolidated list of information forums, with recommendation of activities for AFAMS engagement and participation to include the MAJCOMS/A3s, other services, JS/J7 and inter-agencies that clearly support the objectives of this work.
Document current baseline of joint and interagency efforts and initiatives outlining how we train today, methods and synthetic capabilities used. Include initiatives in development to describe probable future.
Document shortfalls/gaps in achievement of “plug and play” joint interoperability, outlining requirements for the OTI synthetic environment based on the collaboration.
Document methods/processes for collaboration, collection, and sharing joint and inter-agency requirements.
Collaborate with Joint community and other agencies to identify emerging joint/inter-agency requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least five years demonstrated experience in M&S requirements and standards.
Experience and understanding of Air Force and other agency processes.
Knowledge of M&S and its use in integrated training environments.
Knowledge of impediments to M&S interoperability.
Joint interoperability experience.
Military Joint Staff experience as a staff officer.
Interagency operations experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
