HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Research Specialist to work in Seaside, CA. The individual selected for this position will provide support gathering, analyzing, and implementing quantitative and qualitative data results for studies and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Aid in analyses of manpower and personnel research using behavioral science principles, methodologies, and technologies in a theoretical and applied setting.
Contribute to new or modified methods that support R&D of processes, systems, and technologies used in assessment and behavioral research for selection, classification, and workforce planning purposes.
Support translating findings into succinct, actionable insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field, plus 7 years of related work experience; Examples of acceptable degrees include psychology and education.
Must be a US citizen who can be vetted with a National Agency Check & Inquiries (NACI) personnel background investigation.
Experience with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures in accordance with professional testing standards and manpower research.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills. Able to maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of technical and scientific personnel and teams as well as client managers.
Master’s degree in a behavioral science field, plus 3 years of related work experience. Examples of acceptable degrees include industrial/organizational psychology, research and evaluation, organizational behavior, educational psychology, or instructional systems design.
Knowledge of non-cognitive measures, situational judgment test items, and other innovative item types.
Demonstrated professional experience with SPSS, R, SAAS, or any other statistical software
Significant experience with standard setting, reliability, validity, and prediction ability of assessments.
Significant experience in designing, leading, and conducting selection, classification, and workforce planning research.
