We are currently seeking a Quality/Safety Manager (QM) to work in support of the Fort Campbell Logistics Support Services (LSS) contract (contingent upon award of contract).
The QM will develop, implement, manage and maintain effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
The QM will prepare, maintain, enforce, and update QC plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2015 standards across the program and compliance with ISO 14001 standards in all areas.
The QM is responsible for all aspects of contract ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls.
The QM will supervise additional Quality staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
The QM must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment.
Three (3) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations is also required.These can be concurrent time periods.
The QM must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with applicable ISO Standards.
The QM must possess broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and the ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise or promote improvements in logistical programs.
The QM must have the ability to: establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress; establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and on-going quality process improvements; conduct root cause/corrective action analysis. ISO 9000 Lead Auditor qualification preferred; knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.
Demonstrated leadership in DoD logistics projects
Understands and has technical competency managing Army ammunition receipt, storage, issue, maintenance and retrograde operations
Demonstrated success in high OPTEMPO/real-world contingency operations Leadership skills. Ability to counsel, coach, develop, and motivate staff of professionals. Team building and facilitation skills. Solid communication/presentation skills. Full use and application of standard theories, principles, concepts and techniques. Knowledge of advanced aspects of technical specialties in assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Effective written and oral communication skills are required to work with all levels of the organization and the customer.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required.
Must be familiar with the methodologies, tools and concepts of quality management.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification a Plus.
Must have Secret Security Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
