HII-Camber is currently seeking an Architecture Support Level IV (Data Modeler) on-site to work out of the Government Office Space at Building E5101 at Edgewood, MD.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, implement, validate, maintain, and continually shape a set of aligned standard, enterprise-wide integrated CBDP data model architectures and architectural products for the Joint Enterprise Data Initiative (JEDI) and the associated Enterprise Data Management Plan.
Develop DODAF data architecture models and reports.
Independently, or working with the Government lead or functional Government SMEs, analyze CBDP business system projects, products, and programs; producing architectural data products that visualize system, program, operational, capability, and requirement data interfaces which help to expose data gaps and potential data needs.
Prepare and publish formal documents to include JEDI data cataloging documents for the JPEO-CBD Chief Information Office.
Independently, or working with the Government lead, develop JPEO-CBD Business Enterprise Data Architecture. (e.g., DODAF views, presentations, etc.), providing early architecture data products to help drive and refine business system data gathering requirements.
Participate in organizational events in coordination with the Government Leads, for example All Hands and teaming events.
Perform the following standard reporting requirements:
In-person architecture reviews, as needed
Weekly touch point calls
Update status tracking systems as required
Monthly reports, submitted in writing, to discuss the status of deliverables, work plans, and issues
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Standard Requirement:The applicant shall possess a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Test and Evaluation, or a related discipline, as well as ten (10) years of general experience and six (6) years of relevant experience.
Alternate/Tradeoff Requirement:The applicant shall possess a Bachelor’s degree or professional certificate in Engineering, Computer Science, Test and Evaluation, or a related discipline, as well as twelve (12) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
The contractor shall possess 1-2 years of experience developing and maintaining one or more Department of Defense Acquisition Framework (DODAF) v2.0 data architecture products and/or Data Models within standard data modeling tools (ERStudio, Erwin, etc.).
- Preferred:The contractor may possess knowledge of CBDP Business Enterprise Defense Business Systems and their data models.
Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
