HII-Camber is currently seeking an MCIP Support Specialist to work onsite at HQ USPACOM, Camp Smith, HI.

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a Logistics and Support Manager performing routine, multiple, and varying logistics assignments while directing a team of support personnel during execution of a workshop or exercise. Act as the lead for all logistics and administrative requirements of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility. Provide training to lower-level professionals on logistics processes/procedures. Monitor supply support effectiveness and resolves problems with assigned items utilizing appropriate regulations and procedures.

Work with contacts inside and outside the organization in execution of multinational planning and exercise events. Interface with US Embassies to coordinate and collaborate complex movement of peoples and equipment.

Review processes and make recommended changes to work instructions/policies/procedures on an as needed basis to the Subject Matter Experts in all things relating to Logistic and Administrative Support.

Manage and assist with budget planning of personnel, contracted facilities, contracted logistical support, and supplies needed to complete annual workshops/exercises. Prepare contract bid packages by gathering historical information on demand rates, failure rates, or other support requirements. Submit complete contract packages for award. Participate in contract negotiations and maintain contract milestones between United States Pacific Command and potential contracted hotels, shipping companies, supply requirements.

Experience and Requirements:

Applicant must be proficient in MS Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with COCOM Staff administrative procedures and processes desired. Recent experience in administrative and/or logistics support positions within major military staff, ton include management of databases, preferred. Able to draft and staff Task Management System (TMS) action products and endorsements, and draft / format business correspondence. Excellent written and oral communication skills a must. Must have and be able to maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Applicant will be required to travel throughout the Asia Pacific region. Travel will be reimbursed in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
