HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking an administrative assistant to support the U-2 Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission Planning Cell (MPC) support program to work out of Beale Air Force Base, California with possible travel to other continental United States (CONUS) and overseas (OCONUS) locations as directed by the 99thReconnaissance Squadron Commander (99 RS/CC).

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties while working under general supervision, and in most cases, makes independent decisions and commitments regarding the program's administrative activities. Duties are performed in accordance with established office procedures, regulations and guidelines. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for proficient use of a computer and peripheral equipment with various operating and application software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). The Administrative Assistant will prepare a variety of narrative and tabular materials such as correspondence, presentations, briefing charts, statistical tables and other documents. The contractor will transmit, receive, and acknowledge electronic mail and messages.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Maintaining office facilities ensuring the office runs smoothly.

  • Maintaining office equipment and supply inventory to ensure no disruption to office operations.Effectively manage equipment supply levels.

  • Serve as the point of contact to take and deliver messages or mail.

  • Ensure compliance with AF written guidance for administrative workflow

  • Maintains organizational charts, calendars, email distribution lists, and other documents as required.

  • Answer phones and serves as the point of contact for general questions.

  • Work in concert with administrative teams at the Squadron, Group, and Wing levels as required.

  • Coordinate all CONUS and OCONUS travel arrangements for all contract personnel under this TO.

Qualifications and Experience:

General Required Qualifications-

  • Be a U.S. citizen.

  • Maintain a current passport throughout the Period of Performance for this TO.

  • Obtain all entry/exit visas for countries as required for work performance.

  • Pass a standard physical examination that includes, at a minimum: medical history, height, weight, blood pressure, HIV antibody, and chest x-ray.

  • Be physically capable of performing tasks outlined in Duties and Responsibilities Section above.

  • Have all required immunizations prior to OCONUS travel.

  • Comply with all security requirements as outlined the contract Statement of Work (SOW).

  • Ability and willingness to work in a demanding, high-stress environment.

Specific Required Qualifications—

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office Applications Suite, including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities.

  • Great sense of detail, deadlines, and multi-tasking.

  • Strong mastery of grammar and spelling.

  • Basic accounting skills.

  • Knowledge of booking CONUS and OCONUS travel, including, but not limited to: Air, Hotel, and Rental Car.

Desired Qualifications-

  • Five (5) years’ minimum experience providing administrative support.

  • Familiarity with the provision of USAF administrative support at the Squadron and Group Levels.

  • Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS). Experience as a DTS Authorizing Official.

  • Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulations.

  • Experience as a Resource Advisor.

  • Familiarity with Government Travel Card programs.

  • Experience with coordinating CONUS/OCONUS travel arrangements.

  • Must have a Secret and/or NATO Secret clearance
