Requirements:
- US citizenship.
- Currently hold a Secret clearance.
- Speak, read and write English fluently.
- Able to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Able to work under stressful circumstances and meet short suspense.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience as a Facilities Manager/Director managing a large and complex CBRNE equipment warehouse.
- Understanding of COTS, CBRNE, and First Responder concepts and sustainment requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel and SharePoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills an absolute must.
- Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Job Duties:
Direct and supervise the maintenance of all buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and heating. Estimates cost of maintenance, renovation, remodeling for minor building projects; assists administration in obtaining contract or quotes. Develops departmental procedures and policies; prepares departmental budget request. Conducts inspection to ensure assigned facilities are properly maintained and coordinates any required maintenance. Develops specifications for equipment purchases or services contracted and works with contractor on building projects and equipment purchases. Orders supplies, equipment, and materials required for the upkeep of all facilities. Works closely with related departments in assuring safe, clean and productive operations. Maintains efficient use of utilities and explores energy-saving alternatives. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. Serves as liaison to building occupants, identifying and resolving current and potential maintenance problems. Knowledge of facility safety, liability, and risk management principles. Responsible for Physical Security, Safety, Regulatory Requirements, Licenses/Certifications, Environmental Controls, Hazardous Waste, Recycle Program, Key Control, Restricted Areas, and Asset Accountability.
