Language Services Program Manager
The Language Services Program Manager provides on-site supervision of up to 100 Contractor linguists and oversees their performance against US Government customer requirements. The Program Manager manages personnel issues, tracks work hours, and maintains accountability, quality and efficiency standards of productivity for Contractor personnel.
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a manager and supervisor of a staff of several dozen people or more
Familiarity with translation industry standards for language services and quality
Strong oral and written communication skills, to include well-developed briefing skills
Proficient in the MS Office Suite
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and handle changing requirements in a dynamic environment
Monitoring linguist performance and productivity;
Maintaining accountability of contract personnel;
Coordinating with the Government to determine contractor staffing and hours;
Motivating contractor team, resolving conflicts quickly and professionally;
Maintaining and enforcing standard operating procedures;
Indoctrinating incoming Contractor personnel, to include in-processing and orientation briefings;
Maintaining efficient personnel rosters;
Ensuring that all contractor personnel are up to date on training and credentials.
