Camber Corporation Data/Forecasting Analyst (SAS) 15724 in Washington, District Of Columbia


Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Analysis, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science or associated discipline preferred and a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Analytical capability to stand behind and support complex, large data sets based in operations data, preferably with six sigma analytical techniques. Including the enthusiasm and ability to demonstrate deep-dive analytical thinking and data quality control techniques.

  • Capability to use common analytical software packages and produce reporting products with those packages, SAS and Excel.

  • A deep interest in analytics, with a track record of past analytics success and a desire to learn/research new tools

  • Strong business judgement/intuition to sense check model inputs and outputs

  • Desire to consistently refine/improve process to improve business outcomes for client

  • Strong written/verbal communicator who can synthesize model outputs and identify lanes to discuss with areas/sales teams

  • Ability to actively listen to area/sales teams and include their input to the forecast

  • A strong desire to improve the accuracy of the forecasting process going forward

  • A personal sense of accountability in driving to the best possible answer for the client

Security Requirements

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

  • Must be able to obtain and keep a USPS Sensitive Clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Green Card and have been living in the U.S. for at least the last five years

  • Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last 6 months
