Description
Requirements:
Equivalent to a USAF 7-skill level. Red X and IPI certified. Performs training, both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, engines, and airframes, as well as loading and handling AGM-114 missiles. Complies with Technical, QA, Security, Safety, Health and Environmental regulations, policies, and procedures. Supports USAF Quality Assurance Evaluators (QAE). Engine Run Qualified is desired, but not required. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret clearance.
Job Duties:
- Reports to the Lead Mechanic
- Accomplishes organizational level maintenance on mechanical and weapons systems to achieve mission objectives
- Executes efficiently on all tasks
- Complies with maintenance policy, programs and procedures to deliver service excellence to the customer
- Trains and mentors personnel to deliver service excellence to the customer
- Mentors and leads personnel to promote individual achievement and advancement
- Instills maintenance discipline, high quality and safety standards, and strict personal and professional ethics in all personnel.
- Deploys to OCONUS locations per deployment rotation plan
