Description
REQUIREMENTS: 5-20 years in Budget, Cost, Program and Acquisition positions, prefer within the CECOM / CERDEC / C4ISR/ DOD community at program office or headquarters level positions.
DAWIA (or equivalent) training in BCF, PM or other fields, prefer level 2 or greater.
Experience with Government specific software systems (GFEBS or legacy budget systems)
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Capable of working communicating effectively with diverse teams, senior managers, etc
Possess excellent organizational skills
Ability to bring assignments, team discussions and challenges to closure
Excellent work ethic, dependable, and responsible
Must be a flexible self-starter, who can adapt to rapid change
Motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure
Strong teaming, mediation and customer service skills
Secret Clearance Required
JOB DUTIES:
The candidate will provide budget support and oversight at Executive level, working directly withJPMsand their budget teams. Direct support and oversight to DOD budget activities to include: o Support prior, current and future year planning, execution and tracking. o Assist withPPBEactivities to include POM submission, internal coordination, and defense. o Develops and tracks spend plans for commitments, obligations, expenditures andaccruals. o Manage overhead accounts Leverage Government specific systems to includeGFEBS(General Fund Enterprise Business System) and legacy systems (STANFINS,SOMARDS, etc) Interface withJPMsand their business offices, as well as funding customers and performing contractors to track execution data. Maintain expert knowledge with Federal Acquisition and Financial Management Regulations, as well as service specific policies and plans.
