Description

Requirements:
• An Associate’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience in the simulation, computer maintenance, electronics technology, personal computer repair or assembly or other closely related technical discipline.

Duties:
The Customer Service Support Technician provides basic level technical, operational and instructional assistance to customers and trainers via phone, email and fax, and onsite using simulation training systems in the military and commercial markets. Technical assistance includes computer, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting, field repairs, using wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, product data, and other resources. This position takes technical and procedural direction if needed from our Raydon Headquarters through our Fleet Services Dept. At location the Raydon Training Specialist will be the location lead and direct the efforts as required to meet the customer requirements.
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in or leading the instruction of customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of training products and/or modified training systems.
• Applying comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
• Examining training systems and subsystems to diagnose sources of trouble and providing preventive maintenance tips directly to customers.
• Removing, dismantling or partly dismantling training systems and/or components and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools and/or test equipment in replacing broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock/vendors.
• Preparing written synopses of repair activities.
• Conducting on-site installation of equipment and following established testing procedures to ensure proper working order.
• Isolating equipment start-up malfunctions and taking corrective action, receiving technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or engineers.

The Program Manager will facilitate, monitor and support the implementation of LMP. Support will consist of conducting and managing the validation of LMP standard work throughout the workforce. This includes detailed interviews of end users, observing the execution of LMP transactions within each position, providing ad hoc training to improve shop floor understanding and processing issues in LMP, and ensuring off shift training is conducted for shop supervisors. Works under the supervision of senior technicians to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in Unmanned Aircraft Systems electrical, avionics, radio frequency, optical payload, and weapon systems components including solid state andtransistorized subsystems according to pertinent technical manuals, directives and safety procedures. Remove and install unmanned aircraft system subassemblies. Performs aircraft fueling operations. Serve as crew member performing launch and recovery operations. Perform maintenance and authorized modifications on unmanned aircraft systems components. Repairs, replaces and performs operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment. Use test sets and diagnostic equipment. Maintain comprehensive records on all system equipment and associated maintenance. Schedules maintenance on test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. Alters or modifies material according to DA approved modification work orders. Differences training will be provided as needed for qualified individuals prior to assignment and/or deployment.

Description

Requirements: High school diploma plus a civilian or military aviation maintenance technical school and a minimum 3 years experience within unit level aircraft maintenance operations. Position requires detail oriented maintenance procedures and good communication skills. Must have a working knowledge of U.S. military aircraft forms &amp; record keeping procedures and be able to read and follow military style technical orders. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential. Previous operational deployment with US military unmanned aircraft is highly desired. FAA Airframe &amp; Power plant License, FAA Class II Physical, is desireable. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
This position is located at various CONUS and OCONUS sites. Must be willing to travel.
Job Duties: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on unmanned aerial vehicles. Inspect at regular intervals: airframe, propeller and engine. Diagnose, troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in Unmanned Aircraft Systems propulsion, fuel, payload, and weapon systems components according to pertinent technical manuals, directives and safety procedures. Remove and replace airframe components as needed including aileron servos, flap servos, brake servos, landing gear servos and throttle and waste gate servos. Perform all launch and recovery of aircraft including necessary inspections, starting engine, operational check, installing payloads (cameras, KU, Datalink, SAR, EO/IR), and fueling and de-fueling. Incorporate any TCTOs and other modifications into all aircraft as needed. Interface with customers, military and civilians. Maintain records on all system equipment.
