Join Camber Corporation's Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse team in developing advanced solutions using Microsoft’s BI Suite to provide DoD decision-makers with actionable data. We need a software quality engineer with a passion for data and attention to detail.
Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years of specialized experience in analytically solving workflows, organization, and/or planning problems, designing, developing, and testing complex software products and applications.
Work experience in formal software engineering quality assurance beyond unit testing and peer review throughout 3 years experience.
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, but an Information Systems degree is acceptable with exceptional work experience.
Solid working knowledge and hands-on experience with key software platform architectures including one or both of Windows .net, J2EE and three or more of ASP, JSP, Oracle, web servers, application servers, and relational databases.
Must have deep understanding of T-SQL and be able to read logical and physical data models, with comprehension of keys.
Demonstrated experience in and commitment to developing under a formal software development process as part of a collaborative team is expected.
Proven capacity to be productive while working remotely from the rest of the team.
Must be a US citizen and be able to receive a DoD security clearance.
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Experience with automated testing, system testing, and supporting the configuration control board (CCB) process.
Experience implementing and designing reports and dashboards connected to a database and OLAP cubes.
Demonstrated experience with software implications to protect HIPAA data.
Must be willing to take a competency test as part of the job application process.
Maintain and continually enhance a library of quality assurance SQL scripts to check data quality at the multiple phases of data processing in the warehouse. Work with business analysts to determine application and database requirements. Design, build, and test applications and data processing programs. Contribute to architecture, code, and program reviews.
