Military Personnel Support Specialist
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Active secret security clearance.
An associate’s degree in English, general studies, business or related field of study
Demonstrated experience and ability to perform general administrative duties to include correspondence control, word processing, conference, meeting and travel arrangements, and report preparation
Word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe PDF, Share Point)
Human Resources Command (HRC) personnel systems
PERSTEMPO processes and procedures
Military Awards approval process
Proper DA Form 4187 submission
Records Management thru ARIMS
E/MILPO transaction submission, error correction and understand numerous reports
DTAS “three tiered” architecture: the Enterprise Database; the Theater Database and the Mobile System
Review correspondence for accuracy in accordance with pertinent Army regulations.
Prepare, in final form, military awards, to include completing necessary forms and certificates and review, for accuracy, awards recommendations submitted by the companies
Process Soldier requests and actions to obtain a large variety of entitlements, schools, Foreign Service tour extensions and curtailments.
Provide Enlisted Personnel Promotion Processing at Brigade and Battalion level
Review PV2-SPC/CPL advancements
Process SGT and SSG promotions
Process Exceptions to Policy
Conduct Soldier in-processing.
Conduct personnel reassignment processing
Process reassignment notices or forward to Battalion
Process deletion and deferment actions
Monitor enlisted PCS reassignment “no shows”
Conduct personnel out-processing.
